Yes, this Marlin was caught on the SOL. Jerry Walker (left) brought it in. Pictured with him is friend, Bart Hoeman. Both of these boys are over 6 feet tall. How the fish was brought in and where they put it on the boat is a mystery to all except for Miguel, Jerry and Bart.

Captain Miguel is an in-shore fishing specialist. If there are Roosterfish, Dorado or schools of Yellowfin tuna, he is almost always able to zero in on them. These two youngsters, Cody and Sharla jigged, hooked and landed these beautiful Yellowfins single-handedly in July. Dad, Billie Ingram caught a few as well.

This group had a great day fishing for Roosters. Ken Lan Franco lived in Hawaii and did his share of billfishing so decided to take his group on a Roosterfish hunt. The party spent the day in front of Playa Carrellos and hooked a good lot of Roosters to 25 pounds. Captain Miguel is on the right in this photo.

This beauty was caught by Edward Epleit at El Banco on the 1st of August. Miguel is once again on the right. Do you suppose that Captain Miguel sleeps with his baseball hat and sunglasses?

The Riggins men, a father and son team wrote to tell Miguel that they had never spent such a fantastic day of fishing. Very good sized Dorado.

Miguel and his crew are skilled in the art of successful 'Catch and Release'. As a native of Puerto Vallarta, he has fished here for his entire life and wants his children and generations to come to enjoy the magnificence of the billfish that inhabit the Bay of Banderas.
